Annotation: This video learning module walks through the full Asset Mapping process, whereby resources in the community or state/jurisdiction can be identified. Asset mapping builds on community strengths and often focuses on geographic location to ensure utility. This session looks at a nine-step process to engage partners in this work. Participants in the process cluster resources and reflect on patterns of assets and gaps. These results are used to inform action planning. Annotation: This session of the System of Care Expansion Leadership Learning Community focuses on collaboration – among and across child-serving system partners; families and youth; and state, community, and tribal jurisdictions. We talk often about why we collaborate (sometimes we are required to) and sometimes we talk about how to do it. The learning community meeting provides an opportunity to talk about whether we are really doing it and how to improve collaboration to achieve system of care expansion goals. Leaders are critical to the process of collaboration, and the strategies shared will help leaders to learn how to assess and improve collaboration in their system of care efforts. The presenter provides space to touch on why and when we collaborate, how we might collaborate better, and how we know that we are working in collaboration to promote complex change in health and human service systems.

Annotation: Public Health Pronto is one of the MCH Navigator's microlearning projects that allows you to participate in short bursts of learning to improve your public health skills. Similar in format to the 5-Minute MCH microlearning program, Public Health Pronto has an improved the format, while keeping the emphasis on just-in-time, incremental, communal learning that can be accessed on-the-go to match your fast-paced work life. The program addresses the eight Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals and three Health Transformation cores (in collaboration with the National MCH Workforce Development Center), putting key public health concepts into alignment with MCH priorities by using an easy-to-follow modular format designed to increase your knowledge and skills through 5-minute intensive learning sessions.
