This presentation outlines the importance of good communication skills as a tool for public health educators and barriers related to communication and accessible language. Communication tips are presented to present information in a culturally sensitive manner. Overall recommendations from the presentation include honing oral and written communication skills, developing materials in more than one language, updating your technical communication skills, and incorporating communication as a professional development goal.
