This module builds on the concepts discussed in the Introduction to Evidence Informed Decision Making course, and focuses on how to demonstrate and apply the process of critically appraising a systematic review of a treatment or prevention intervention relevant to public health.
This training is part of the Canadian National Collaborating Center for Methods and Tools' suite of 5 online courses to support the process of evidence-informed public health (Quantitative Research Designs 101: Addressing Practice-Based Issues in Public Health; Introduction to Evidence-Informed Decision Making; Searching for Research Evidence in Public Health; Critical Appraisal of Systematic Reviews; and Critical Appraisal of Intervention Studies).
