Measuring Racism

Teaching & Learning Resources

During the 2016-2017 academic year, Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine developed three lunchtime seminars offered in a series called Racing Towards Equity, which focused on how different forms of oppression affect health outcomes. Each training session incorporated a segment of The Impact of Racism on the Health and Well-Being of the Nation, a four-part APHA webinar series. The Racing Towards Equity lecture series was facilitated in partnership with the Diversity and Health Equity Learning Collaborative. For additional resources related to public health and racism, please visit the APHA Racism and Health page. This includes the 2021 Advancing Racial Equity Webinar Series.
