Since 2013, the MCH Navigator at Georgetown University has partnered with the National MCH Workforce Development Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Association of Teachers of MCH (ATMCH) at the University of Alabama to strengthen the MCH public health workforce. It is a unique partnership that has an established track record of improving the health of women, children, and families by strategically supporting the workforce’s ability to implement federally and state-funded programs, including the Title V program.

Building on more than a decade of proven impact. We equip state Title V Maternal and Child Health Services Block Grant Program (Title V) leaders, staff, and other MCH professionals with the skills and tools to address MCH needs in their communities and advance outcomes nationwide. Together, our projects provide a full range of training and technical assistance; a platform to access self-directed and self-paced training and an online hub for workforce development offerings; established outreach, engagement, and recruitment networks; and a carefully-constructed academic-practice partnership model. We collaborate and partner with critical organizations in the field and an established advisory committee to guide our work and amplify impact.
